One block west of South Main on Garfield stands one of Del Rio's tallest landmarks- the Roswell Hotel! Built in the 1920s, and once advertised as the only air-conditiones hotels in Del Rio, this structure now houses shops on the ground floor and is owned by the Del Rio Housing Authority for residnced on the upper floors. During the 1930s, Dr Brinkley used two upper floors for his nationally known 'rejuvenation' clinic.
