Have Lunch with fellow Chamber members and hear a guest speaker that will interest you and our community.

This month's guest speaker is Karen Steelman, Science Director at Shumla Archaeological Research & Education Center. Karen Steelman manages Shumla’s 14C plasma oxidation laboratory and is a key member of Shumla's Leadership team. Steelman is a recognized international researcher with over 50 peer-reviewed publications. Prior to joining Shumla in 2017, Steelman was a Full Professor of Chemistry at the University of Central Arkansas. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
